National Tennis School Launches “Pickleball in the Gym” – Expanding Our Popular Gym Program

Since 1995, NTS has introduced tennis to over 65,000 children across more than 100 elementary schools through our Tennis in the Gym program. We’re thrilled to now offer an exciting new addition: Pickleball in the Gym.

Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in North America, combining elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. It’s a fun, inclusive sport that emphasizes strategy and teamwork—perfect for elementary school students. Whether it’s a beginner or a seasoned player, children of all ages can enjoy the sport’s dynamic, low-impact nature.

Through this program, students will get the opportunity to improve their physical fitness while developing balance, agility, and coordination in an engaging and safe environment.

Our certified pickleball professionals will teach engaging lessons to children from Grades K-6 during their regular P.E. classes—no bussing required, we come to you! And if your school needs equipment, don’t worry—we’ll provide each child with their own pickleball paddle.

Program Options and Pricing:

Program #1: Single Day – $400 + HST (per school, per day)
Program #2: 5-Day Program – $1800 + HST (save $200)

We are also proud to celebrate 40 years of excellence and the 30th anniversary of our Tennis in the Gym initiative. After a successful launch of our National Pickleball School Program last year, schools (K-8) can now choose from Tennis in the Gym, Pickleball in the Gym, or both.
